Students will learn to use new combinations and applications of existing skills and knowledge to better the patient's chances at surviving traumatic events.
Course Description: This course provides a pre-hospital trauma care philosophy, stressing the need to treat the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs that requires an approach to treatment that varies from traditional treatment modalities. Methods of instruction include lecture, discussion and team-focused practical exercises.
