Canvas Mastery for Fire and EMS Instructors (MICRB #312) - 6 hrs

This 6-hour hands-on workshop provides comprehensive Canvas training for fire and EMS instructors. Participants will learn to set up Canvas accounts, organize courses, manage assignments, and utilize communication tools. The session includes hands-on practical activities to enhance proficiency in navigating Canvas, engaging students, and streamlining teaching processes.

By the end of the session, 100% of participants will be able to successfully customize their Canvas profile and navigate the Canvas dashboard with ease; will have organized a Canvas course into modules, and uploaded at least three different types of course materials (e.g., documents, videos, links); and will be able to create and manage assignments, quizzes, and discussions, and utilize at least one collaborative tool.

STUDENTS MAY NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR BOTH THIS COURSE AND MICRB 251: CANVAS 99 (MFRI PDI-244) IN THE SAME OR CONSECUTIVE CERTIFICATION CYCLES.
